While on our vacation in Mexico recently, I realized how easy it can be to get into my body the necessary fruits and veggies each day. Every morning at the breakfast buffet there was an assortment of fruit and vegetable freshly squeezed juices.
The variety was great, and we could choose from single fruit/veggie juices such as papaya, orange, watermelon, melon, pineapple, beet, and many more; OR we could choose a blend of a few different fruits and veggies. We often opted for the mixed juices and regularly had two glasses of various juices each morning. The blended juices we enjoyed most were the carrot/ orange mix, and the pineapple/cactus/orange mix.
On this trip I realized how easy it can be to have juices like this at home each morning – realistically, all I’d have to do is prep the veggies either ahead of time, or even that morning to ensure they were extremely fresh. Either way, it’s all achievable.
So here’s my motivation to you; if you’re like me, and sometimes find it hard to get your vitamins in, in a natural way, get yourself a juicer and start mixing. See what suits your taste buds best, and go with it.
Personally, I am not a big fan of pineapple, but I found that with the cactus and orange flavours mixed in, I was able to enjoy it. It’s so important to get these vitamins into our bodies naturally, and this, I think, is one of the easiest ways.
Also, there are plenty of different fresh fruit and vegetable juice ideas online that you can look up if you need some inspiration to get you going. Try searching places such as Pinterest, or simply going right to Google.
What designer do you think of when you want some feminine chic inspiration. My first thought it CHLOE – the boho chic style, the feminine and delicate fabrics and prints, the sunny vibes that beam from their brand.
I first caught sight of this brand when I started falling in love with their Drew Bag – before then, I wasn’t really into their style. But, how the times have changed because I could literally imagine myself in every single piece from their collections – including the shoes and bags as well. Especially for the Spring, Summer, and Fall months.
I have made it a habit to check their page once in a while and update myself on the latest collections. Most recently, I have fallen in love with THE NILE BAG! I absolutely love the shape; I think it’s so unique and it actually suits their style and outfits perfectly.
I realize I’m a little bit behind the crowd on this one, as I have noticed many bloggers and celebrities wearing this bag already, but that is okay. We don’t have to follow the trends, we can just enjoy them.
So, my dream Chloe Nile Bag = white, grey, or black leather, and silver hardware (I’m not that into the gold hardware, as I really don’t wear gold – unless it’s white gold).
Finally, the great thing about Chloe is that their bags are reasonably priced (for designer bags), in comparison to let’s say, Celine, or Chanel. These Nile Bags range anywhere between $1,500- $4,000 USD – depending on the size, material, etc. So again, it would be a splurge purchase, don’t get me wrong, but it definitely would be worth it.
Will this be Chloe’s next classic/signature bag like the Drew or Faye?
Usually when we go on vacation I like to bring a book or two to read during down times. Last month when we went on vacation I decided to only bring one book – I knew I needed more rest than before, and I’d only get through one book.
After a quick browse through my collection I decided on “The Best Kind of People”, which turned out to be a great choice!
Well, I read the book in two days! It was that good! Personally, I though the writing was great and the story itself was intriguing. The characters drew me in, and I felt like I wanted to know more with each page.
So the “Book of the Month” for the Month of May is “The Best Kind of People”. I highly recommend this book!

WEEKLY LIST TIME!
First, jot down people that come to your mind right away. Then, I suggest you have a look back on your list of what makes you happy; review each of these and decide if any of them are connected to an individual.
Remember, quality not quantity!!
